What I'm up to, as of 7 November 2026.
Little Mac apps for the small internet. Gopher Browser reads gopherspace, Gemini, Spartan and finger. News Reader is for Usenet, Relay Chat is an IRC client, and SDF Post posts to the blog here, which goes out as a phlog and a gemlog at the same time. Offsite browses an rsync.net account the way the Finder would.
Alongside them sit a drawer of floating desktop widgets (clocks, a calendar, a scratch pad, a radio), and two clocks that live in the Dock. They're all in the desktop_widget folder of my web clocks repository.
MRI toys: Bloch, for watching spins tip, fan out and echo, and k-space, for spoiling a picture's frequencies to see what happens. They go with MRS Helper and the NMR and MRI modes in Calc.
The tea and coffee guides, Calc and Minesweeper can now be installed as apps and work offline.
Still adding to the web clocks, a gallery of odd ways to tell the time.
